Xehanna could tell the girl wasn't fully paying attention to her but soon found out why when she asked the question. "My eyes change color with my moods. Orange for happy, Deep purple for excited, Grey for sad. There's a ton others but too many to name. I can't really control it though. its like someone can read my mind by looking at my eyes." Lyra noticed that the girls eyes went ice blue and wondered what that meant , but on the look on her face she knew she was either sad or nervous.
Lyra smiled . "i think its Awesome!! were you born with it? or did you use a spell once? " she asked in a amazed voice and felt her raven landing on her shoulder. "oh hey Kira" she said to the bird and stroked his feathers and turned back to face Xehanna and laughed a little nervous. "oh sorry, i've never met anyone who can change their eye colours depending on their moods, so....yea" Lyra finished the sentenced stupidly and stared at the fire. A second later she jumped up, feeling something cold. "where'd that water came from?!" She screamed looking around and she heard another Slytherin student yelling something of calling the head of house.
