But, clearly, the Slytherin Captain didn't intended for Prefect Denton to step inside at this right moment, no?
Yes, probably not. This was awkward, to say the least. Kaika should've stayed at the Library. Next time, Library, always and forever. There.
Man, she totally forgot Myrtle was there! At least there was someone
nice to talk to. But...not too nice things, though, considering the little conversation they were now having.
"Oh, then I guess we have a problem" she started to explain, and since Dominic was not going to be listening then there was no problem in stating the obvious,
"Well, not a problem, really" she added, and smiled, yes, smiled.
She needed something to smile for, that will clear her head a bit,
"See, your Knight in Shining Armour is not precisely yours" she could've stuck her tongue out like a little child, but didn't.
"Jake...he's my little sweet Huffie boy" she stated, though, the boy in question wasn't anyone's possession.
See? Now that was a mistake.
His eyes were amongst the most beautiful things in the world. And she's seen the Antipodean Opaleye very closely.
However, that didn't match the tone in his voice. 'Lockhart'. Ouch! That really hurt. And, she'll be remembering that for quite a while, probably, since Bludgers hurt way less and she still remembers how much Tancred hurt her arm.
Yet, someone might expect the sixteen year-old to look away, and she didn't. Her eyes kept fixed on Dominic.
"I could easily suggest a lot of other things as well, Prefect" like, for instance, 'Keep Out of the Quidditch Pitch'.
First, that would be awesome if he did. She didn't know how much it hurt to actually see the boy, and it might be worse if she saw him play. Because everything looks much better when Quidditch is involved, right?
Second, there's no guarantee of who will the Bludgers take as a target, and hurting Dominic's face won't be so nice.
Third, well, why should he play Quidditch in the first place?
Fourth, and most importantly, she arrived first at Hogwarts, therefore, the Pitch belongs to her. Ummm, well, no, it belongs to the school, but still, it sounds quite fair if someone weights who's been here the longest between those two, no?
Now, why wasn't Dominic leaving? Oh, and now Myrtle wanted him around? Perfect.
Her eyes turned away from Dominic, reluctantly, by the way, towards the Slytherin Captain.
Oh, how much she wanted to be able to speak that way, especially to the same one that Captain was talking to. Though, she was partially right in what she was saying. Partially, because, well, Kaika could be a bit biased in favoring the Prefect, not out loud, though.
She was now liking this girl very, very, very much. And at the same time she knew this was someone she should be in good terms with. And...she was breathing too loud. Way too loud. Not good.
"Ermm...You should...sit down and...maybe breathe slowly?" she suggested, and stood up. No one could know if the girl was going to need assistance in something.
