Her voice went up about an octave at the end of her sentence, she was so excited. What if they would

"Oh, Myrtle! Myrtle, Myrtle, Myrtle!" Anna called out, sloshing through puddle after puddle of water and heading over to the ghost. Anna stopped halfway, though, seeing as the ghost was headed her way. Her mind racing a million miles a minute, Anna spoke. "No, no. It wasn't you. I was caling for help, you see. These floors...!" Anna explained, picking up her feet one at a time and examing the flood beneath her. "I was hoping you had an idea as to what was causing this, or maybe you could help...in...some...way?" she asked.
Oh, Merlin. She wasn't going to cry, was she? She was... "Now, now. Please don't cry. We know how...helpful...you can be, so we really hope you'll stick around and share some ideas if you have any," she said. "Speaking of help, you were calling for the headmaster, yes? He seems to be missing in action. He and the healer... I'm afraid we've seen neither so far."
"Head Girl Head Girl Head Girl!" the ghostie mimicked Anna and floated through her to the other side of the dungeon. Heheeee a little bit of water and
evvvveryone wanted Myrtle. But noooo no one bothered to send her owl post or visit her bathroom over the summer or or or - why, they probably didn't even THINK about her while they lounged by their precious pools and suntanned and she couldn't even ever buy a bikini these days.
Sniffle. "I'm
not crying," the ghostie sniffed again, wiping her nose on her robe sleeve. "Yeah I wanted to visit Pepe," she giggled suddenly and would have been blushing if ghosts could blush. "I was just wondering how his Yoga was going...hehheeee..."
The atrocious giggling was starting again. "And I just like, saw the Healer," Myrtle added with another twirl of her pigtail. "She was in the detention cell with that wall kisser."

yet."
Hmmph. Give them something to think about.
