...That came out the wrong way. He quickly put his hand down. "Neeeevermind, you don't deserve to sniff me, yeah." That also came out the wrong way but well it was true--she didn't deseeerve to sniff him. He smelled of girly shampoo from the shampoo he borrowed from all of those girls last term. Lemon and jasmine smell from Willow... Cinnamon from Evolette. He wasn't sure if he had gotten any other shampoo from girls but ah well.

And then... the other girl brought out her wand! NOW he was scared. You don't want to mess with a first year with a wand because they usually blow things up. And that's from his own experience last term. "Baaaackk offff, I have a poking finger and I'm NOT afraid to use it!" He held up his finger in front of her and then stepped back a couple of steps.

Were they afraid of him? He wasn't even sure now. But... she started laughing. LAUGHING AT HIM?! Cam wasn't sure if she was laughing AT him or laughing WITH him. He wasn't even laughing at all... so she had to be laughing AT HIM. But it could've been a mix of both. He felt relief when Diane said that she was a girl. She was so close when she whispered to him though. He was even more scared, mainly because of the cooties she was possibly holding.

"Huh? Nuuu. My name IS Cam. It IS Cam. Nothing else but CAM."

Even though Cam only raised his hand for a moment, it was long enough for Dru to get a whiff and for her to make a stark realisation. "You do smell!" she shouted with glee. "You smell like a girl! You're a girl too!"

Dru was bouncing on the balls of her feet as Diane began laughing at the boy and he got annoyed at her. The energy from Diane's sudden outburst of laughter gave Dru some extra courage.

"You smell girly, and you're a liar.... We should call you... Girly Firepants!!!" Dru cracked up laughing at the name she had just given him. "Girly, Girly, Firepants!" she sang.

Dru looked up at Diane, who still had her wand out, with a smile still plastered on her face. At least if Cam did try anymore finger magic, then Diane's wand would protect them.
