Why hadn't Legend and Mat come with her? Honestly, she was going to meet their Head of House, not hers. Katie shook her head, lifting her gaze from the stone corridor floor, noticing the hall was empty except for her. It sounded like it too, which was sort of a good thing. Maybe it was better she was meeting the Muggle Studies Professor and Gryffindor Head of House by herself without the boys tagging along. They would probably cause trouble - especially if Cy came, the troublesome trio would definitely wreck the visit and probably go as far to get them all introuble. Including her. And that, that would not fly.
Yes, maybe they can come next time.. on leashes. The tiny little first year thought to herself, a slow smile spreading cross her face as she neared the door to the Professor's office, and still no one was around to ruin her meeting what she thought would become one of her favorite Professors. The words 'Muggle Studies' already reminded her of home, and of her old school, maybe it would really help her not feel so homesick.
Raising a curled up hand to the smooth, hard surface of the door, Katie knocked lightly.
