Anna watched in mock-horror as the pastry went sailing out the window.
Le sigh. One good pasty, probably gone forever to some lucky bird or other creature. Anna would have definitely eaten the pastry...or at least tossed it to Clifford Carden. That was the least she could do for the Head Boy, who still didn't seem to have a nice impression of her at all. Glancing away from the window, Anna turned back to the professor just in time to see him call forward two additional volunteers.
