Kel sighed as he ascended the stairs up to his dorm. When he walked in, he found a his bed - one by the window. He smiled when he saw the owl cage on his nightstand, in which Jasmine was resting with her head under her wing.

Not wanting to go to bed just yet, he opened his trunk and pulled out a random textbook. Seeing that it was the Herbology book, he shrugged and threw it onto his bed. He sat down and kicked off his shoes, then lay down on his stomach, his feet on his pillows, and started reading.
