Jack rolled his eyes and took a nearby roll, biting a huge chunk out of it. He hated talking about his non-existant love life, especially with girls. They just got wayyyyyy too excited about it than was really necessary. Why was it her business anyways? It wasn't. Hmpf. She didn't need to know anything about Evolette cause it wasn't her place to stick her nose. Now that he thought about it, it made him a little annoyed actually--well, she was out of luck, cause he had an AWESOME knack for keeping his mouth shut. She'd never pry his secret out of him. NEVER!
"Sooo what do you think we'll learn in Astronomy this year?" he wondered aloud. He had been bursting to ask someone that question since he boarded the train.

Legend waited for a moment until the girl FINALLY understood him about the...sideburns? Yeah!! That was what they were called he remembered now. Rolling his eyes as Anna said the sideburns were cool Legend couldn't believe it. They weren't COOL. They were anything BUT. They were ugly. Butt ugly. But he guessed whoever said "love was blind" was a hundred percent right. Maybe the Head Girl needed glasses?
A small smile played on his lips at her answer. Poor Anna. She thought she was tough. She SO wasn't. She wouldn't be able to handle him. He had grown up around Jett and Miguel and as much as he hated to say it...he was ruthless. "Troublemakers in line? Guess your gonna lose your job cause I heard some kid talking about how we already lost 50 points." He had no clue what points where but LOSING them couldn't be good."Hmmmm wouldn't it suck if they just gave you the job because you like scared them? I mean with that kinda attitude..." Legend trailed off a fully smile was daring to break out. This was soo much fun.
Jack blinked as little Mat poked him--hard--on the shoulder and then bounced away. Before he could reflect over the little boys quirkiness, however, his attention was drawn back to the Gryffindor who had walked up earlier--the rude one who called Anna bossy. Sheesh, SOMEONE had a HUGE attitude problem. Like a little egomaniac in training.
"Well, you weren't being very nice so I stepped in," he informed the kid, a little rudely at that. Childishly, he stuck his tongue out back at the boy in return--TOUCHE!--and then stepped up in Anna's defense once again. "And she's not gonna get FIRED. And you SHOULD be scared of her--she could get you expelled, I bet," he told him.
