"You hit your head?" She looked to the crown of the boy's skull and saw a little bump. "Wow, nice horn you got growing there." Lettie said without thinking first. "Does it still hurt?"
She turned to Ott, "I don't think he realized that dinner had finished and that dessert was brought out. It's much like how my younger cousins act though. I'm used to it." And it was probably a good thing that Lettie didn't babysit often, because they would all be hyped up on sugar.
Smiling at her, he agrees
"I think so too. It sure seems to have done the trick!"
Surprised when the younger girl said he was a second year, but recovering quickly.
"Umm, do you think that's a good idea, to tell him that..." he asks anxiously.
