Now she was confusing herself, stupid philosophical stuff...too complicated. "True." Lettie replied as she drew another face in her pudding, "I could lie too, make stuff up." She gave Ott a smirk. "Not that I would do that, I don't like being a liar." Stroking Ornlu's fur some more, Leticia looked over at her hand absentmindedly. If only she hadn't walked over and tried to be nice. That was her problem, being too nice to people.
She chuckled for a moment, "Well, it was more about me proving to my parents that I could actually do something myself. Which kind of backfired in the end I guess. What have you done to get your parents angry?" "I think you would know personally if you were trying to give personal gratification." he says shrugging. "I mean if you meant well, and were truly trying to help someone, that's not really goody-goody. But if you were doing it, to get something, and being beyond nice to get on their good side. That's when your going to far."
Nodding, he understands completely. "I'd hate to lie about things myself. But if people are prying to much, then I might say, That's kind of personal.
Pouring himself a glass of water, he takes a drink, thinking. "I think the worst is when I pulled a prank on my brother just after I got back from my first year at Svensvort."
"I took lephracaun coins and placed them around his room. I had gotten a pet niffler, that my parents thought was adorable, that we made sure stayed in a cage, when we weren't playing with it, and I let it loose in his room, when he was taking a nap." with a chuckle. "I've never seen him run so fast from his room! But boy were my mom and dad mad, I was grounded the rest of the summer!
