Smiling, Pie looked over at the girl that he had plopped down next to. "Hi! My name's Pietro but you can call me Pie if you'd like." He extended his hand to the girl, which he had just cleaned off because his uncle always taught him that you should be clean when you introduce yourself to a lady. (ooc: NADIAAAAA) Quote:

Whatever this mafia was, the fearful way in which Jude spoke of it didn't really made Kiri want to find out.
He went on and on. Kiri refilled her goblet, still leaning against Raiden. This was enough excitement for one day.
When he patted her on the head, a happy shudder went through her. "I just wanted to make sure you weren't going to get hurt," she mumbled into her goblet. "They looked mean enough to just hit everyone." Another thought occurred to her, even more frightening. "And what if they'd pulled wands at you?" The thought of Raiden being hexed... She dug her fingers into his robes heavily. (And where those the robes they'd bought together in Diagon Alley?) Quote:

She brightened upon seeing a likely spot and climbed up to stand on the seat, unintentionally announcing her presence to the entire Great Hall with a flash of pink and white striped socks, a short skirt and her regular Ravenclaw uniform. She slowly sat down, kicking her mary janes off under the table and tucking her feet underneath herself and smiling around in greeting.
"Hi and ZOMG! Ravenclaw and Slytherin already tied for first!" Hah. Cela cracked herself up. The zeros wouldn't last, and Evangeline and Clifford still couldn't do it on their own. Ravenclaw ftw again, she hoped. Raiden nodded; the guy had looked suspicious. With tattoos and stuff... nobody else had tattoos, did they? It was an odd thing for someone so young to have. Along with purple eyes. It seemed really weird.
"I wonder what he's teaching this term... He wasn't here last term, I don't think," Raiden murmured, looking to the staff table. Few new faces up there...
And now Jude seemed to be very upset with him, and he held up his hands in submission. He hadn't meant it that way...
"I just meant I feel bad for the others... they're already 50 points down because they have meaniefaces in their house. I don't feel bad for the boys, they were really rude... I understand them being mad at Willie but really, talking like that to a professor is justasking to get in trouble..." He patted Jude on the shoulder. "They deserved to get in trouble for being mean, but I feel bad for Anna, and Daphne Hopton, and the crazy pirate girl, because they lost points for THEM too."
Kiri was leaning on him again, making most of his side go all numb and odd-feeling. He listened as she spoke, her voice rather quiet for talking in the Great Hall... she had been worried about them drawing wands on him? He hadn't even thought of that possibility before, had he... but it seemed like it might have been a possible conclusion to the situation.
"We would've been alright... jinxes and stuff are annoying but reversible, and the professors would have been right there. It would have been... annoying, but I doubt they know anything that could really do irreversible damage to us..."
He patted her hand that had dug into him gently; was she really THAT worried? They were students too, surely they didn't know bad enough magic to hurt them very badly. He mulled over the thought as he felt the bench shift slightly. Glancing over at whatever had moved it, he started to smile at the realization of who had just arrived.
And then he promptly fell backwards off the bench in surprise. WHAT WAS SHE DOING STANDING ON THE BENCH IN THAT OUTFIT.
"C-Celandine Toussaint get down from there!" he yelped, face bright red. "Are you mad?!" |
