She nodded her head when Cam asked if she really did ask if he had a great summer. "Of course, that's what I asked. Can't I be nice and asked if you had a great summer?" She asked, trying to figure out why Cam was asking weird. Maybe it was because she was being nice, but then... she caught what he was about to say until Jack came. "This has NOTHING to do about that kiss. I was just asking a simple question," she told him before turning to Jack.

"Oh, Jack. Hello," she told him, "Oh, no, it isn't take. Please, do sit down." She looked back at Cam then to Jack. She wasn't sure if they met yet or not, but might as well introduce them. "Cam...this Jack. Jack...this is Cam," she said, smiling as she introduced them.

Clearing his throat, he smiled politely at the small kid. "Um, hi. I'm Jack," he said, introducing himself to Reese's friend. Or acquiantance--he couldn't be sure if they were friends or not.

"So, enjoying the feast?" he asked Reese. Gah. What a lame opening question. Borrrrrrrring. He really needed to start coming up with better conversation starters.
Now he just stared at her cautiously, thinking that in any second, she would jump and then start kissing him in front of the whole Slytherin table. And when the Slytherin table went silent, everyone would see. He was just so sure that she would do that and he scooted a little bit away from her. Girls these days. They were crazy and that is why boys were better than girls: because girls were all weird and desperate. Reese was probably desperate to get him back. Oh, it was soooo obvious.

"Oh really?" he answered when she said that it wasn't about... about the kiss. Sure it isn't. Reese was a bad liar because he figured that her bad lies would suit her bad attitude. Right, Reese, herself, was a meanie-bo-beanie.

Cam looked at the older boy and then quickly waved a hello. Whoever he was, he was probably some criminal that went out of prison. Most of Reese's friends were criminals (he was sure). "Uhhh, hi Jack. I'm Cam." He didn't pay attention to his robes and asked, "So are you in Slytherin?"

pfft, Slytherin was a place filled with bad boys and bad girls. All of them were bad and mean... wait, he was a Slytherin--which would make it mean all Slytherins were mean except him. Yeah.
