"That was MY cake." Leticia said with a smirk and flicked a jelly bean towards Ott. "THAT one is yours." The girl continued as she pointed to a plate that she had pushed to the side momentarily. She got herself another piece, a bigger one, and started to eat again. Eating sweet stuff was nice, every family gathering she went to resulted in Lettie getting scraps of dessert.
The food that was on her fork slipped off and fell to the floor, much to Ornlu's delight. "Never had the time to read for fun?" She said in disbelief, "We'll have to change that. Reading is great, I spend hours a day sometimes reading."
"I sure hope not. I've seen enough ghosts to hold me over til I...well I've seen enough of them. peeking again under the table.
"And I don't think chicken bones are left by ghosts. Who in Merlin's name is eating under the table!" he says with a surprised voice, popping back up. Laughter filling his deep voice
"I know, yours looked better." popping the jelly bean into his mouth, he smiles and adds
"Thank you!" "More food for the visitor under table?" he asks with a smirk.
"Well, perhaps, I need someone to read with. The company might be lacking." he finishes lifting his eyebrow a little while daring to look into her eyes again.
