It was great because she loved him, but at the same time... sad.
Antonio smiled widely. Besides being with his daughter, there was nothing more he loved than to talk about her. "Her name is Antonia Michelle," he told Alessia proudly. "I didn't choose the name, my wife Bethany insisted on naming her that, not that I argued much, of course." He laughed. "She's Antonia after me, of course, and Michelle after Bethany's father, Michael. "She's three years old now and getting bigger every day," he said honestly. "Every time I see her, she's changed. It won't be long before she comes to school herself. And that picnic would be wonderful, and I'm sure that there are more people that care about you, Alessia. Not that it isn't great that you have Professor Kazimeriz, he's awesome, but you know what I mean." Antonio thought Alessia was great, he didn't understand why others wouldn't like her as well.

Still blushing slightly, Iliana just raised her head and smiled. She hoped that she hadn't come off as a total spazz. Sheesh! How embarrassing.
"Actually, I have," Antonio said, and it was true. Despite enjoying his time with Antonia and Bethany, his true calling was here, teaching at Hogwarts, and it always would be. He knew that was something all the professors could understand, as they all had the same passion in their blood.
Antonio sighed as he saw the Hufflepuff boy, Ricco, get in trouble by acting up at the other end of the staff table. The term hadn't even begun yet and already two houses were in minus points, including his own, with students already serving detention. It looked like it was going to be an exciting term, he thought disgustedly. Didn't the students ever learn how to behave?
