After a few minutes, Arienna cleared her throat and broke her statuesque pause. Hopefully, anyone who had noticed her obvious disability had looked away by now. Most people had only heard of blind people, but never actually saw or met one. Unfolding her hands, she brought them from her lap and up to the space of table in front of her. Her fingers encountered a plate--Roughly six-and-a-half inches in diameter. To the left--a spoon, a fork, and a knife. Just above the end of the knife was a goblet. Ari reached forward, past the goblet, and picked up the first bowl that met her fingers.

Bringing the bowl close to her, Ari reached to the side of her plate after a moment. In the time it had taken her to reach for the utensils, she had determined the contents of the bowl--spagehtti. Keeping perfect suavity, Arienna picked up the fork. Weighing out the apropriate amount of pasta, she lifted a few forkfuls of spagehtti onto her plate, before replacing the bowl back to where she had found it.

Pressing the fork back into her own spagehtti, she twirled it for three rotations, before lifting it. She dipped the fork once, so that any loose spagehtti would fall back onto the plate. Then, with no hint to her blindness, she ate her spagehtti bite, by bite, by bite.
