She had no qualms in insulting a former student or his sister, after all. "And my hearing is perfectly fine, no thank you. If I were to require medical assistance I would seek the aid of a real Healer." Or her brother. Or anyone but that little Avalon tart.
Oh she did NOT have time for this nonsense. Well maybe the time, broken hands aren't mortal wounds, but she didn't have the patience. Definitely not.

"Anastasia!" Cari said sharply. "I don't have time to be conversational. I would rather focus on my patient right now. If you wish to discuss my brother's performance in your class, which I remember being quite good, you can, by all means visit me in my office but presently I have more pressing matters at hand."

She sniffed lightly, "I'd like a potion, Ma'am. Thank you." Lettie said trying not to burst out into tears with each word. Stupid school. She hated public schools. HATED! Why didn't she go to Beauxbaton's like her family wanted?

The girl started to zone out on a knot on the staff table when she was asked something else, "Leticia Dubois." She said quietly, completely forgetting that she hated to be called Leticia, and preferred Lettie. Not saying anything else, Lettie stayed silent.
Cari shhed the girl and uncorked the phial of pain potion. "Pleased to meet you Leticia, I'll give you that the circumstances aren't great..." understatement!!!

"Drink this up." She handed her the tiny vessel in her unbroken hand, "I'm Caroline. And we just need to give the potion a few seconds to work."

Cari turned to Marcus and Kazimeriz, "I assume whatever happened with the 'rogue handshaker' is being dealt with?" she asked, eyebrow raised. Who breaks a hand just by shaking it? Something was very wrong here. It couldn't have been an accident anyway.

The boy was upsetting her patient. CAN'T have that. Cari glared at the rude boy as Marcus sent him away. "I'll take that as a yes." she added dryly.
