There weren't many left. "Iliana, Myself, Miss Av-Caroline, yourself... and if we can get her, The MacShackAttack... that's it for Women, isn't it? Now professor Bunburry, you can't tell me every evening you are busy... you need to sleep sometime..." Let's see her wiggle her way out of THIS one.
Oh Merlin that woman was going to get it. Anastasia tried to tune out Lupa as she rambled on and on, plotting out a shopping trip and then a...why...a sleepover?! Were they five years old now? That was so last term!

"I suppose not....um....really, I didn't think you were the sleepover type, Less...." Annie was fighting the urge to start smirking as she played with the dinner knife beside her plate. What she really meant, of course, was that she doubted the other woman ever slept, if the bags under her eyes were any indicator.

She turned her back on the evil woman and returned to Alessia.
Speaking of dinner knives, Anastasia was debating doing something to the Intern that might involve sticking a knife in a not-so-happy location. And then they would really see if she was up to the task of being a Healer.

"I'm sorry to hear that you have such a pathetic excuse for a sibling," Bunbury continued their 'conversation' as snidely as possible. She had no qualms in insulting a former student or his sister, after all. "And my hearing is perfectly fine, no thank you. If I were to require medical assistance I would seek the aid of a real Healer." Or her brother. Or anyone but that little Avalon tart.

After which, I would request a bit of your time and attention myself, Cari." He smirked that enignmatic, we-have-a-secret, don't-we smile again. He took as step back so the girl could be seen to, nodding to his other colleagues as he walked toward the stairs of the dias. He gave a particularly formal, pleasant smile to Bunbury. "Professor." he said amicably.
Ahhha, there was the old codger. Heheheheee things were going to get interesting now that Kazimeriz had showed up.

"Good evening, sir," Anastasia greeted the twisted old man. She was most interested to see him teaching potions this term; even if she didn't like the man, she certainly admired his disciplinarian style.

He knew he was supposed to stay quiet, but he had to somehow get across his displeasure. "Yes. Sir," he muttered, enunciating each letter out of the six, and seriously working hard to stop himself saying "Woof, woof,". Crossing his arms across his chest, Jake resolved to write to his dad as soon as possible. Maybe he'd be out of this horrible place by next year. Hopefully. He couldn't stand being bullied, and now being treated like a dog! It was unbearable.
"Mr. Upstead?" Annie peered over the dias curiously as she recognized the bobbing pink head seated in front of her. "Your hair is looking very bright today..."

And no, she did not just pay a student a compliment. She was simply admiring her favorite color, that was all.
