Elan looked up from his platter as the Head of House came up and boisterously greeted the huffie students. He gave a casual wave, as he didn't really get much chance to talk to the professor, so he didn't wish to appear as a boot licker. He happily returned to his cup of blackberry juice and the pumpkin tarts laid out neatly before him. The pumpkin tarts had been made in a savory manner with a luscious butter sauce that made the tarts quite moist.

He looked around at the table and realized he probably needed to make some more friends in his won house. It seemed that all of his 'friends' were from other houses.
