Looking back to Jude, Raiden shrugged his shoulders helplessly, casting a glance at Pietro. He was just a little firstie... it was his first day in a new school, and now all he'd remember was someone getting mad and threatening to hurt him.
"I dunno, Jude... He got all mad because Pie was being a little loud."
...oh Merlin, Willie was here... and making a mess. Raiden waved at him, his face turning red as he watched Willie drop chicken all over the big tattooed old guy.
"Willie, come here, he's not really... nice..." Raiden said half-heartedly. "He said he was gonna hurt Pie, he might hurt you if you..." Too late to warn against making a mess, he supposed. Stepping closer, he grabbed Willie by the back of the shirt and pulled him carefully out from between the detentionees. "Willie..."
Jude looked more than a little offended at this, "Ge'in mad cuz 'e wa' bein' a might bit too loud, eh?" He was a loud one himself, and never got in trouble for it. "Who cares if we's loud? No one! Tha's who!" he said and flailed a bit. Pain isn't a good solution for loud children, no ways.
Jude glanced in the same direction as Raiden and his eyes and mouth both went wide again. "Oh noes." he said and moved a little closer to help get him out of there.

He rolled his eyes. "No, because I was too busy trying to explain to them that our world is real. It would be too overwhelming. You try explaining that to a girl, see how it goes."
Irial nodded. "If you'd like, I'll speak to Gabriel. I need him to get me more salve for my designs anyway. They spread to my chest now. I don't know what's going on with them." Frowning, he absently scratched his arms. They weren't bothering him..but still. His designs hadn't spread in years. Why now?
He opened his mouth to mention something else to Ari about these sort of people when a young boy, damn it all to hell, shoved right in between them and into their conversation. He was pulled out of Irial's grasp, but not in time, and there were two pieces of chicken in his lap now. Irial's eyes flashed angrily, but Ari flipped out first.
Jude had Willie's arm in his hands, and was staring at the two boys. "Sorreh 'bout 'im..." he said, pulling him away. "Realleh 'e's jus'... 'ungreh... ya know... no need ta fret!" he said, smiling huge and backing up to the safety of their friends. "Willeh..." he also said, jerking on Willie's arm.
