I made Copernicus read Pride and Prejudice when he came to stay with me." She volunteered that little tidbit and nodded enthusiastically.
"Oh I got soooo many dresses and muggle jeans which I've never ever worn before, and shoes and jewellery and..." Celandine lowered her voice, "... pretty knickers! But ohhh I'd really like some more shoes. Pretty heels like what you and Professor Bunbury wear though they look awful hard to walk in. I bet they make it easier to kiss boys though... for me I mean, you are already tall."
"Awww! He took you to a carnival? That's a muggle event right?"
OH and the girl wanted to know more... and the questions were just...YES! "Yes! He's very...extremely gorgeous! His mother is so much fun to go shopping with. I wore the cutest of all bikinis. Yes he held my hand when we went to the village, I would have wondered if he didn't. His cat is super cool, best cat I've ever seen. The romance books, his mum let me borrow and I read them to him, Pride and Prejudice is a wonderful book...that Mr. Darcy is just...RAWRRR!" She talked almost without a break in between, as Cela did as well.
"Did Cope enjoy the book? What did he think of Mr. Darcy? What do you think of Mr. Darcy?" Why was she reading to Copernicus? "And the pretty heels, well, I believe that this year I'm going to see about holding a secret class...just for the females," she looked around for a moment, then up to the staff table. "I'm rather hoping that a certain Professor would help. I'm sure it would be right up her alley." And speaking of the professor, she seemed to have made a grand entrance herself with her stylish shades, handbag and of course the wonderful pair of shoes.
