NeeNee Omniscient Omnipotent Pie Maker The woman looked SO much better than when Cari had last seen her, it was like she was an entirely different person.
She smiled at the Runes Professor, only totally slight taken aback by her forwardness. "Hello... what should I call you? Professor? Or by your given name?" Some people really seemed to be uppity about being called by their titles, she couldn't tell if Alessia Lupa was one of them, but then she wasn't spectacular at reading people either. Books. Not people. "Anyways," She continued, "I'm Caroline Avalon. You can call me Caroline if you want. Cari is okay too." Most of the people Caroline was friendly with (even though that wasn't a great many people) called her Cari at some point. An obvious exception to this rule was her Great-Grandmother, who hated the little nickname and refused to use it.
Oh! And Marcus was there! She knew him, well sort of. If you count crashing into him in a street and nearly making an enemy out of him. They got along much better since they had spent time working it out over ice cream though. He certainly was much more friendly to her now.
"Hello Marcus!" Cari greeted happily. "How do you like the Great Hall?"
