Okay, maybe she was just being paranoid. Maybe Paris hadn't taken in a defensive stance at all. Out loud Nancy said with a small grin and a wink, "Oh, well, just longing for chocolate you know."

As he even declined Paris' offer to talk to her Nancy bit her lip contemplating whether or not to interfere, to tell Paris what or better who was the reason for Theo's rather unusual behavior. She decided to keep her mouth shut, for once, though.
