That was the first time she had ever called him anything but his full name, and she didn't even notice she did it. "See you later."
The compartment was a bit less unhappy now. She had SOME leg room and crossed one of her legs over the other, looking at the other people present. And then she wondered... hmm. Where were Cela and Plymouth? Or Issy and Livvy? For a split second, she considered going and looking for them. But for now she remained where she was. It was finally getting quieter.

Paris again seemed preoccupied as she went to leave without answering Mariel's question. It wasn't that pertinent anyway as the young girl was just wondering/making conversation and now with two of them leaving she had some breathing room.
And even though Becca was staying, Copernicus was still on his way out. Okay, well, Mariel decided to go anyway, even if the compartment was emptier. One, she could stretch her legs a bit as she was never one to sit still for long, and two, she still wanted that pumpkin pasty. The third year got up to leave for a second time, when an older girl suddenly walked in, nearly running down Copernicus in the process. She stared at the scene in front of her, wide-eyed, and watched as the Ravenclaw boy sat back down, Mariel following suit and returning to her seat yet again. "Hello," she said slowly to the newcomer, wondering just how crowded their compartment could get.
