She relaxed and smiled brightly at him. She had actually waited on the platform for him, but the whistle blew and she hadn't spotted him, so she boarded the train.
All thoughts of that mean, ugly Ravenclaw vanished from her head. "Morning," she told him. She patted his hand around her waist. The train jostle, and Paris teetered. "Maybe we should grab a seat." She giggled as she sat down and made space for Steven to sit next to her.

Steven smiled down at the girl and grinned a little as he gave her forehead a soft kiss. "You've changed your hair." He told her with another smile. "It suits you." He said with a nod, before he looked at the man who had stand up to greet him. He moved the hand that didn't have Paris' fingers laced through it, and shook his hand.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Copernicus. Fourth year Slytherin." He felt the need to add, before continuing on with a grin. "Well, I was just the lucky guy. She picked me." He said as he looked down at his girlfriend with another grin before she pulled him over to sit down.
He wasn't sure if there was enough space for him next to her with Copernicus sitting down as well, so he pulled her to her feet with one hand gently, and after sitting down motioned for her to sit down on his lap.
There, at least Copernicus could sit down now. He smiled to the others and let his hand rest just about her knee. "Did everyone have a nice summer?" He asked to start a neutral conversation to start with.
