Chris watched Melinda as she let tear fall. He then shook his head at what she had said about being to late. He put his hands on her shoulder. "Mel I promise you won't be. Because this heart beats only for you. My heart is yours." He told her.
Melinda was feeling time was going way too fast. In fact that alarm from her watch sounded, making an eeky noise that she hated. It was time to leave. Daniel was waiting for her at the Madrid's downtown.
When Chris touched her shoulders, Melinda's hand palms took his hands. "My heart...beats a little crooked" She giggled, "but it only does it for you...I have in mind every day...that I will soon be back with you and nothing...no one will be able to walk me apart from you..." She said.
"But I have to leave now..." Her voice went down to a whisper.
