Actor
Martin Ballantyne, who has a minor role in
Half-Blood Prince, where he played a 'Scary Face' character, has been cast in
Deathly Hallows as one of Mundungus Fletcher's companions. He recently
spoke about his experience working on the sixth
Harry Potter film and explained what his role entails for the final installments.
Quote:
“But in The Deathly Hallows the director, David Yates, had remembered me and I was given the part of Mundungus' Associate. He is a baddy - I'm always the baddy - and I had a few lines to learn and say.”
He confirms that British actor Andy Linden will indeed be playing Mundungus Fletcher:
Quote:
Mr Ballantyne said Mundungus is played by Andy Linton who has appeared in films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and he was “really nice.”
He also mentions that he has not started work on Deathly Hallows yet:
Quote:
“I should be in the final film The Deathly Hallows Part 2. The Half Blood Prince is out in cinemas in July, The Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be out in cinemas for Christmas 2010 and the second part will be out sometime in [2011] - although we haven't started filming that yet.”
