Maddox's head snapped up, and he glared at Lima. This was not the right time for her to speak to him like that. They werent GREAT friends. They had just started speaking to each other again about a week or so ago. He clenched and unclenched his jaw a couple times, wanting to tell her to shut it and get out, but he refrained, and turned back to Penny.
Maddox looked at her and softened his features a bit, but was still angry at Penny. "Why didnt you tell me, Pen? I thought you and I would get to hang out this summer..." He sighed and looked out the window.

Penny glared for a few seconds longer at Mads, then kissed his cheek and smiled.
"I would have told you if I had seen you. You seemed to have disappered as well." she told him. Then an idea struck her. She leaned over and grabbed his chin to make him look at her.
"I know you love the outdoors. Why not come with me for awhile. Lima is going to be with me at towards the end of the summer." she told him after Lima pitched in her comment.
"You know it would be fun." she said with a big smile.
