|  Visit 9 The REAL Sorting Hat: "Ravenclaw!" This monkey is bananas.
The little boy smiled happily as he stepped into the Nursery, his eyes spotting Ziella straight away. How could you not notice her? She was beautiful to say the least; her coat glistening in the bright sunlight. today William was dressed casually, his robe open to the heat, his tie loose around his neck. His sneakers kicked a stone as he stopped at her cage and sat down, not caring if he got his awesome jeans dirty. Naw, he wanted to play today, and finish the training. "Hey girl, it's good to see you bouncy today." he said happily, ruffling her fur. She barked quietly, her tail waggling erratically making him laugh. "You're frisky today, that's good I have so much planned today!" he said grinning as his blue eyes shone brightly. "Come on, let's get up and walk around eh? You look like you just ate so some good excersize would be good for you." he said bending down to hug her.
Wiping the dirt off his pants he practically ran towards the open area, patting his knees as he ran backwards to bring her along. Skidding to a halt and catching his breath he watched as Zie flew by him running in circles. Yup she was frisky. Better get her tired he thought whistling once to bring her to him. Taking out the now brutal looking ball he shuddered and threw it high into the air. "Fetch!" he called out, watching it sail towards the other end of the area. Zie ran off after it and caught it, jumping into the air and landing on her paws. "Good girl, come here." he called after her.
Standing still he watched as he obediently trotted back to him and dropped the ball. Dropping a few treats onto the ground William frowned, what was he to teach her now? Oh right, playing dead. Ok, no problem he thought snapping his fingers and grinning when Zie looked up expectantly. "Now, you're last lesson grasshopper, if you choose to accept it is to lie perfectly still, eyes closed but not asleep. Got it?" He said smiling as she tilted her head at him. "Good, it's like this." he said laying on the ground, arms crossed, eyes closed. He lay perfectly still until he felt her muzzle nudging him and jumped up grinning. "See?" He said roughing her up some as she panted.
The command is laylay." he said, his hand perfectly still by his side, two fingers out. She watched his movements before laying down, head on paws. "No, not lay down, laylay." he said snapping his fingers to get her up. "Try again, you can do it." he said softly, watching her. She whined a bit before laying down, head between her paws, her body perfectly straight. Her eyes remained open though and he shook his head, "Good try girl, come here." he said snapping his fingers once more as he handed her a few treats. He sat down beside her and petted her for a few minutes, "I know it's hard, but try learning magic. It's much harder, what you're doing is so easy, it's not funny. Complicated spells, incantation, wand work, plus the writing! I've never written so much n my life before and I'm only a first year." He said, giving her encouragement. "You're strong girl, you're mind id fit, you're healthy. One more try for me?" He asked, getting up. She tilted her head and waited while he put two fingers out and said, "laylay." she dropped to the ground, eyes closed perfectly still.
"Excellent! See?" He exclaimed bending down and petting her, hugging her tight. "Good job girl,that's a good girl." he said, depositing the rest of the treats on the ground for her to eat. He took out a chocolate frog from his pocket and opened it, glad the summer was almost over so he could eat as much as he wanted. Chewing it quietly, he patted his thigh and began walking back. He noticed she wasn't following though and turned, watching her run around the area more. Shaking his head he threw the ball, watching her chse after it and catch it, before throwing it herself and catching it again. He couldn't help but laugh, it was too cute. After ten minutes of free play he gave a whistle and she ran towards him, stopping to a trot as he walked back to her cage. "You be a good girl, eat all your food and drink all your water and I'll be back tomorrow. It'll be a nice visit, no more training I swear. Just you, me a ball and a surprise." he winked, petting her a bit more before filling up her food and water bowl. Picking up his book bag he turned and left, hearing her eat.
