Hogwarts RPG Name: Margaret Jacqueline Atkinson Morris Fifth Year | Visit #1 Potter’s Princess A+ FangGirl A book tucked under her arm, Melina entered the Nursery for the first time in her life, feeling honestly guilty about not doing so earlier, but the truth was that the moment she heard that Jarveys ate gnomes, she had become scared. No, not exactly scared. She simply couldn't even think of approaching that being because... well... those poor gnomes! True, they were usually evil in those fairytales she had read but stiiiiill... Well, she didn't like the idea of feeding any creature a gnome. Nuh uh. But it looked like she'd have to go there anyway or else she'd go on summer holidays with a heavy heart. Yes, yes, she would.
Once she was inside, Melly immediately made her way for the Jarveys section. It didn't take her long to find out which one was hers seeing as it was the only one that had no name on its cage yet. Uh oh. She had been sloppy, very sloppy indeed. She bit her lip and knelt down on the floor by it, her loved book on her side.
"Hey there, little one," She called softly. "I'm Melina, but you can call me Melly," She added once the creature opened its eyes to look at her. Ah, well, at least it had pretty eyes. They were grey and veeeeery big. Gnome eater or not, she couldn't help but smile. "You talk, right? I read you did. And I think I'll call you Rumple, short for Rumplestilskin, you know? I think it'll suit you, but we'll see," She nodded to herself as she picked the bag she had carried with her and placed it on her lap as she waited for the reply she never got. Hmm... The Jarvey hadn't learned to speak yet, had it? Well, it was her fault and her fault only. Still, she had to admit it was good, for that meant that she could teach it polite language instead of the one she knew they spoke. Yes, she'd do that.
"Do you like lettuce?," She asked, smiling as she showed the creature a green leaf, only to make it send a hissing sound in her way. "Err... I take it that's a no," She sighed. "How about this?," She showed it a bit of raw meat. It appeared that the Jarvey did like that one for it was soon as close to her as the cage allowed it to. Now that was just... Urgh. Nope, its eyes may be cute but she didn't like him that much. Nuh uh. "Alright then," She mumbled, throwing the meat into the cage.
Finding it was better to leave before she saw Rumple eating it up, which she doubted to be able to make it, she picked he bag and got up. "I'll - err - see you soon, Rumple," She stared at it for a second and, before she could see anything else, ran away from the nursery.

they're gonna try and tell me this wasn't, that none of this happened,
but you know what? It was real. It did happen.
We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |
