Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Dumbledore cast sympathetic eyes down at Tara and then looked back to Severus. "I am on my way to the Weasley flat to determine that now. However, I am certain your suspicions are correct, Severus," he replied, gravely. "We shall have a chat later on today. In the meantime, I suggest you get some rest. I hear from Madam Pomfrey that you sustained some injuries last night."
He placed a comforting hand upon Tara's shoulder before walking back from the direction he had come, making his way back to his office to prepare for the scene awaiting him at the Weasley flat. Snape watched as Tara sank to the stair, her arm, sliding out from his own. "Yes, sir," he replied when Dumbledore told him they would have a chat and to get some rest."
He stared at the space Dumbledore had just vacated. He had failed. He was so wrapped up in getting his injuries taken care of that he had failed to send Dumbledore his warning last night. Snape mentally added the name Luna Lovegood to his list.
