"Cope!" Anna greeted, glancing over at her Ravenclaw friend from her spot where Vindictus were currently clinging to her robes. "I hope you have a plan, 'cause our's aren't working!" Anna glanced down at the poor little niffler again. She couldn't squash it! It hadn't really done anything wrong. Well, it did bite quite a few people, but it probably did so out of panic. Sighing, Anna refastened her necklace around her neck. As she did so, Professor Vindictus finally released her and took off towards the candy. Oh how she hoped Paris would run, run, run! Anna winced as Professor Vindictus pounced on her and snatched a cauldron cake. Ouch. From the corner of her eye, Anna saw the niffler scurry and hide. She'd leave him be for now. She didn't want him to get hurt!
