Still unable to erase the grin that seemed to be permanently etched on her face, Mariel gave a cheerful wave to her teammates and all their fierce supporters as she bounded over to the food-ladened table. Oooh cake, that's just what she needed. Grabbing a piece of the snitch cake, the second year did a little pirouette underneath the falling stars that almost seemed to drop on her, butnotreally, and sank into the nearest chair. She had been energized by all the adrenaline, but now that it was starting to fade, she was starting to feel tired.
Nia saw Mariel wave, and bit her lip. The reason for her hesistation was down to the bruises and bite marks Nia had managed to obtain over the last few practices. It seemed that the two of them competing against each other in practice was not a wise idea. A bit too zealous over who had the quaffle perhaps. Nia's arms were not a pretty sight from the purple marks.
Today though, they had played as a team, and had done amazing - and putting aside her usual attitude, Nia smiled and waved back. The girl deserved it afterall, she had done the Ravens proud with her seeking abilities. They were all different on the pitch to off, and maybe it'd be good to get to know her fellow second year.

"Ah, that makes sense! I thought my eyes were just deceiving me!" Nia laughed. "Handy that he knew that though, cos it made your area of the stands pretty impressive." She shook back her blonde hair trying to flatten it from where is had fluffed up from flying. Cela's next words made Nia's jaw drop. "The Slythies? Honestly?" Nia frowned. She knew of one Slytherin who wouldn't have been supporting Ravenclaw. Her brother. If he had managed to show at all that is.
"Well, I certainly enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a thrill to fly today, with so much support." Finishing her cookie, Nia eyed Cela's cake. "Good?" she questioned, gesturing towards it. "Real good food for after sport!" she said with a chuckle.
