Always a bit apprehensive about this particular class, Mariel cautiously walked into the DADA classroom then abruptly stopped in the doorway, quaffle-wide eyes scanning the decor. As she looked about the classroom, her green eyes landed on Lasca, and as she made her way to sit at her pink table, the thirteen year old noticed that she was already sitting with a much older Gryffindor boy. Giving her a small smile as she was still wary about the change in atmosphere, Mariel decide to sit behind them, dropping into the seat next to Elizabeth. Still keeping an eye on the romping crup emerging from the blackboard, Mariel pulled out her textbook, wondering what was in store for class. It wouldn't surprise her to think that Kazimeriz was luring them into some sort of false sense of security.
