"Perhaps." She stated simply, lowering herself from her high perch near the top of the bookshelves to be at eye level with the Gryffindor. "There must be a way to reverse it."
As the Hufflepuff spoke of the Friar's apparent distressing consequences of dancing, Helena's eyes widened in surprise. Had he told? Had he honestly confessed all? She must reach the Spirit Room at once! The ghosts must reconvene!
The young girl's next words, however, caused a change of mind quickly. With a sharp gasp, the Grey Lady spun around and began to flee towards the double doors of the library. "The Mirror! The Mirror!" She wailed as she disappeared through the doors.
"
Our...as in...you and...?" Anna asked, sure she was referring to all the ghosts, but not wanting to make an assumption. What had they done?!? "Wrong about what?" Anna asked, confusion written all over her face. Clearly sometime terrible had happened, and clearly it had greatly upset the Grey Lady. Anna glanced to the floor and tried to put two and two together, yet never once coming up with what in the world the ghosts could be hinting at.
When the Grey Lady flew eye-level with her, Anna glanced up and looked her in the eyes...or, well, her ghostly-type eyes, that is. "Reverse it? If you'll only tell me what..." Anna's sentence trailed off, though. The next thing Anna knew, the Grey Lady was tearing out the library, yelling something about the mirror. Wait...the mirror? The Mirror of Erised? "Wait!" Anna half-whispered, turning and following the others out the library and to the mirror.
