Via walked inside the nursery and found her pet poking the cage's lock. "Woah, trying to wreck your cage, dear?" she asked. She smiled at the imp and unlocked the cage. Cid jumped outside and started to stretch his arms. It's bee a long while since she last set her outside his cage. "Sorry for keeping you inside for a while," she said. "Maybe you wanna play, right?" Via carried Cid and opened the door towards the play area. "You must have missed here," she said as she joined Cid outside.

As she watched her little pal run and jump and stretch and do everything, she couldn't help but feel a little bit sad that Cid had grown so fast and he's no longer the little imp she used to carry around. She could still carry him around but it's different now, he was all grown up for an imp.

Cid carried his slapstick wherever he went and he accidentally tripped over it which made Via laughed. "See?" she told him, "You're supposed to be making rackets to others and not to yourself." That was just one way to annoy him and Via knew she got it wrong. She started running for Cid came running after her with his stick. "Oh..no..." she said still laughing, "Not again." Cid was soon close enough to Via but instead of poking her, he hugged her leg.

"OH!" Via sighed as she sat on the ground. She didn't care about the dirt. "I wonder why you're acting like this... Maybe you knew this is the last time i'll come down here and play with you." She stroke the imp's head as she curled up her knees and Cid sat beside her. She never thought she'd be able to care for an imp. After all the pokes, scratching and everything, she managed to say this far caring for a pet.

She soon started telling some stories at him as the imp watched her. How she wished Cid was a real person. Soon Cid went an playing again with his stick but Via didn't budge as her gaze followed him. She opened her bag and brought out some sweets. "I haven't got any insects today,but i know you love these," she said and the imp came running towards her.

That was a seven inch creature which just broke into a jump and Via was knocked off the ground. Staring at the sky with Cid's eyes watching her. Via again laughed. "You're making it hard for me to leave you," she said as she composed herself from being knocked to the ground. The treats were scattered around her. She picked one and ripped it open as Cid already got one for himself. They both enjoyed the treats. Via stood up and dusted her robes. Cid's eyes followed her as she left he area and came back with a piece of cloth. "Now, it's time for you to have a little break," she said and she cleaned Cid using the damp cloth.

Soon Via and Cid went back inside the nursery and Via made sure, the door to the play area was tightly shut. "Time for rest, Cid," she said. "I have something for you." She let him sit at her shoulder as she rummaged for her sketchpad. SHe flipped through the pages and found the page she was looking for.

The page had a drawing of a magical creature. It was sitting in a marsh with eyes closed. "That's you. LAst time, when i saw you sleeping," she said. She knew her drawing wasn't the best and it wasn't exactly the way how Cid looked but she was satisfied with it.

She watched Cid view the picture and then his eyes turned to her and to Via's surprise he gave Via a cuddle. Via returned Cid inside his cage. Before leaving she left something inside the cage. "I've got a copy of the drawing here, it's yours now." With a smile, Cid grabbed for it and Via gave him a wry one.

Turning back she didn't want to bid goodbye to the imp who had been a great pet to her, "I'll try to come back," she said as she head off the nursery embracing the sketchpad. But Professor Morgan was there and she wanted to ask her something.

"Good day Professor," Via greeted as she glanced at the imp. Cela and Copernicus were there and she could see they're having a great time with their abraxans. She wanted to have Cid for her own, she knew her parents would find him interesting.
