Fred, deciding that he had probably embarrased himself enough for one day to last him till at least some time next week, hid out in his bedroom till everyone left. He pulled his sopping wet shirt off and threw it in the hamper then went to the door to listen for everyone leaving. He considered running out and appologizing again to Hermione for all his antics of the day, and almost did it, but stopped himself upon realizing he had no shirt on.
Sure that everyone was gone, Fred strolled back out still wearing his bowler but no shirt and plopped down next to George. He sighed and started telling him all about the episode with Hermione in the Lab, then nearly being killed by Guin, then his embarassing moment with Hermione and that being the reason he didn't come back out to say goodbye. "It's been an interesting day George my boy." He added kicking his shoes off. |
