Rachel walked down towards the lesson, still a bit down after the whole thing with Toshi.
"Hello Professor!" she said with a smile at the teacher, looking around at the classroom styled area. Making her way to the benches, she frowned as she saw that thy had a note which they needed to sign.
For safety precautions... Wow. Wonder what we'll be doing this lesson? she thought to herself as she heard the Professor's instructions. Sighing, she got out a self inking quill and filled in the slip.

Walking up to the teacher, she handed her the slip of paper and pulled out her wand. She eyed it with a slight paranoid look in her eye - she still hadn't forgotten that memorable DADA class and her mother breaking the beloved piece of wood into two, snapping it as if it were no more than a twig.
Shuddering, she handed over her wand as well and smiled slightly,
"Take good care of that, Professor. It's all I've got," she said in a quiet voice, shaking her head and leaving to go and take her seat, all the while trying to ignore the memory of her mother's smirk that insisted on playing itself again and again right before her eyes.
