Amy allowed Jake to lift her head so that their eyes meet and she smiled as the beat of his heart thumped against her palm. Taking a step closer she wrapped her free arm around him while leaving her hand to rest against his chest right where his heart was located. After placing the side of her face against his chest she spoke softly to him. “Like I said earlier, no one is perfect and no relationship is either. But I love you to Jake and thank you for promising. I think we both had a bit to talk about to each other day in the line of jealousy.” As she took a deep breath breathing in his scent she felt the tear that had welded in the corner of her eye slip down her check and as an after thought she added, “Jake I am sorry I didn’t tell you about it before. I was just that it was never brought up and I never thought it was that important.”
