Looking at Ari he froze, anymore words dying immediately as she didn't make eye contact with him. Suddenly he didn't know what to do; his mind going blank like a clean sheet of paper.

"Wreck! Disgrace!" The man snarled at him, the edges of his face turning slightly puce. "Look! Look what you've done! You've ashamed us all! You made your mother CRY!" He took several strides forward, narrowing his eyes. "You sicken me. I refuse to call you my son any longer." His mother wailed in the background, merely shaking her head, seemingly speechless.
