Oi jus' though' ya should know. Oi'm leavin' in a few hours, kin'a loike a family emergency. This way, Oi jus' din't want ya ta think tha Oi'd abandoned 'er or anuhthin..." he said and looked at her.

He hadn't really dealt with Professor Morgan a lot in the past, and didn't know what to expect for a reaction. So instead, he just stood there silently, face expressionless, hoping for the best.
