Maddox raised his hand before speaking and replied, "Fear brings on an adrenaline rush, which causes us to either run for our lives, or be brave enough to push the fear aside and deal with whatever may be vexing us. Hence why fear is generally the main emotion during a battle, a duel, or anything that, object or what have you, can cause us to have fear. Personally i try to push my fear's aside during duels. Which in turn gives me the adrenaline and confidence that i need to win."
