Firstly she couldn't help but wonder, just how many creatures were living in the young prefect's hair. Next she thought, what an interesting girl Kayla was to not act foolishly queasy around her uncommon pets. She certainly reminded her of herself growing up as a child. How funny her brother had thought she was for her lack of fear among the creepy crawly things.
Of course the biggest thought, the one that rang out in her head, caused her to lift Charlotte up close to her face so that she could get a better look at her small patient. After a few short moments, Iliana lowered her hand and gave Kayla a comforting smile. "Kayla, I'm pretty sure that Charlotte is going to be just fine." She said seriously. "Though I do hope you're prepared to be a grandmother. Honey, Charlotte is going to have some babies."
Kayla waited anxiously as Professor Morgan inspected Charlotte, she'd only had her for just over a year and she had grown rather attached to her which was why Kayla had kept her and not given her to Celandine like she had originally planned.
Her face broke into a smile when the Professor announced thatshe was going to be fine and then immediately followed up with one of complete shock. "She's what?" Kayla squeaked, her baby was going to have babies!! Kayla sat there stunned for a couple of minutes letting this piece of news sink in and then finally she let out a squeal. "Oh my god, oh my god, she's going to be...I'm going to be...oh my god" she repeated again.
"Well this changes everything I'll have to order a tank from Diagon Alley, so that I can set up the nursery for the babies that are coming. I can't have her wandering around anymore and it might be a good idea not to carry her under my hair either, in case you know she goes into labour or whatever tarantula's do. I haven't read that far into it" Kayla threw herself back against the chair and let out an excited giggle. "This is so amazing. How many do you think she will have?" Oh she hadn't actually thought about that, what was she going to do with numerous tarantula's running around?

Kayla watched as Webster crawled all over Jake's head and arms and she chuckled softly. "I think he likes you." She was impressed that Jake didn't shy away from Webster and in fact he seemed to enjoy having him crawl all over him and then it came to her. "Oh Jake, would you like one of the babies when they're born? I see you've got a real knack with Webster there, might be nice to have on of your own?" She hoped Jake, would like to take one there was nothing more satisfying than having a pet to look after and it just might keep Jake busy enough to forget about his other problems...for a while at least.
