Darn. He'd ducked out of the way, and here she'd thought the battle would be over before it'd had time to even get good and started. "Spoken like a true...well, whatever it is they call people who take dueling lessons. Very good, Mister Kettleburn," she said, taking on the same formality her friend had. "Oh, and thank you. Likewise." She studied him as he bowed, then followed suit and did the same. She narrowed her eyes briefly, still studying him, before raising her own wand.

Cope?" she asked, dropping the formality and adopting a cautious tone instead. She wasn't aware that Ravenclaws set wagers---especially
this Ravenclaw. "Just go ahead and tell me what I'll receive when I win. I don't believe we need to waste time discussing what would happen if
you won..." She finished her little speech with a half-smile---afterall, Copernicus Kettleburn was her friend.
