Laylee couldnt help but feel this was all so mysterious! She would have to bombard Chandan with questions later. Him telling her or not was up to him, but she could already feel the curiosity it eating at her! She looked back at the door one last time then took a few steps into the passageway.
When Miles said she was sleeping at the top of the Manor, she couldnt help but think back to all the fairytale princess books she had been reading lately. The tallest tower!... Only, well, Chandan stayed at the top! Laylee chuckled slightly, then tok a few more steps.
Chandans house really was amazing! It looked so different, yet it all fit together!
Laylee looked back at Miles as she mentioned the lift. She looked at the stairs, then her luggage and smiled. "I'll take my chances with the lift if thats okay." She said.
She listened, she could here Chandan too. She couldnt help but smile. She wanted to hurry and put her things away now, so she could see the rest of the house and... be near him...
