Theme 19: Jelly Legs


THUDDD.

There was an "ouch," an "Oof, Moony, get your hair out of my mouth," and a "Gerroff! Gerroff, Prongs, you're CRUSHING ME" as, with a clanging of the floorboards, three, tall Marauders fell - one on top of the other, - in a messy heap, on the floor of the Room of Requirement.

Sirius was the first to rise, shaking off the considerable weight of a James with lopsided glasses, and a Remus who was massaging his head.

"You're fat, Prongs, I feel suffocated," the grey-eyed Gryffindor accused, examining his wobbly legs. "Feels like a Jelly Legs jinx."

"It's Moony's fault, not mine," James snickered, instantaneously.

"Wha-?" Remus said, coming out of what seemed like a mini reverie. "Prongs, you were the one who pushed -"

"Well, be glad he did, because the Room's locked Wormtail out," Sirius said, cutting through Remus's defensive babble. "-- Why is it so dark? -- Where's the lighting? Prongs, Prongs, where's the lighting, Prongggsssss? I thought you and Lily were going to have a date here. I mean, if all you two wanted to do was play blind man's buff - "

James rolled his eyes. "Padfoot?"

"Yeah?"

"Shut up."
