Looking down at his injured hand, Iliana studied it in silenty and then gave him a solemn look. "Well... death is a possibility." She teased, giving him a wicked grin before laughing. It was hard to stay mad at all when he was making such hilarious faces. Could it be that he was actually scared? Of a Clabbert none the less. Big, strong, GRYFFINDOR prefect, frightened of a cute, furry, little creature. Nah!!! She thought, shaking her head to herself. Just NOT possible.
"Cale, the only thing that you might be at risk of is a nasty infection. Have you had that scratch cleaned yet?"
Cale's eyes widened in horror when she mentioned the possibility of death. What the SNAP? Oh, she was only joking. Letting out a breath of relief, the prefect blushed. He must look so silly in her eyes right now. Him, Cale Newell, scared of a Clabbert? He glanced at her for just a second, trying to figure out if Morgan had fallen subject to the same kind of madness that was currently making Bunbury and Lupa go insane, but she seemed to be alright.
"Erm, no, I haven't--I should probably head up to the bathroom and clean it out. Orrr the hospital wing, maybe," he said, thinking aloud. "Well, I'll get out of here now," he added, making sure that Zippy was locked up in his cage securely before reaching in and tapping him on the head affectionately. Zippy either didn't notice or didn't care--perhaps he was too intrigued by his little gift from Kayla--either way, he made no acknowledgement of Cale's actions. "Bye Plymouth, and Kayla," he said, giving them a little wave goodbye. "And goodbye Professor!" he added, waving at Morgan as well as he walked out of the nursery and back to the castle.
