Reese watched Jake put on his hat and raised her eyebrow. Was he scared he she was going to do something to his hair? Must be.
Jake beamed up at Reese, totally missing the sarcasm in the girl's voice.
"Thank you!" he said.
"Oh, leave her," Jake waved his hand.
"It's so cool when the Professor's have fun!"
Eyes going bright again, Jake nodded once, firmly.
Seems like she's not all that mad.

"I know!" Bunnybunz started giggling at the way the Slytherin said 'hilarious' for some reason. "What's your name, by the way?" she asked the girl, spotting someone she thought she knew over her shoulder. Oh, that's that's that's the Claw cap'n! Bunz waved cheerfully to the girl and then turned back to Reese.
"I'm good, just fine, enjoying the game and this loovely lollipop. You should get one." She popped the sucker back in the mouth and smiled without showing any teeth.
Jake thought for a second.
"I think it's just either blackcurrant or strawberry... they're my favourites, so I mainly carry them," Jake went on, holding his own lolly in his hand whilst he spoke. As he opened his mouth to stick in back in, Jake revealed his multi-coloured tongue, indicating that he had in fact eaten many already that day.
"I schould come shee 'im," Jake pondered for a moment.
"I don' tink I came to shee you schinss... firsht day of terrm," he went on, removing the sweet.
"Aside from classes and some... stuff..." "Yeah, Seeker!" Jake grinned.
"Thanks... It's kinda daunting though... but... we'll see..." Jake stared out over the pitch.
"Two of my best friends in Slytherin are playing today," he said out loud, saying it for the sake of it.
Jake turned round to face Reese.
"Want one?" he asked, holding out a strawberry flavoured one. He looked at it and then pulled out a green lime one as well, looking up at her, inviting her to pick.
