I was pretty sure he'd dislocated it but he refused to let me look at it." She started, looking over at the flailing boy and frowning at his still atrocious behavior. "At that time I had ordered him here, to see you. I found out today that not only did he disobey that order, he's apparently attempted to 'fix' his shoulder himself. He's still in a terrible amount of pain. I was hoping that you could take a look at him. For some reason he doesn't have faith enough in me to allow me to."

She took a deep breath and wondered if she should go into detail about Jake's running (from everyone) or his strange, yet unexplained Healer-phobia. "The ropes are an attempt to keep him from hurting himself any more than he already has. I'm sure if he stops moving around and trying to flee then this could all be taken care of in no time."

So then why did she feel like she wanted to cry? Oh poor Jake....

She turned her attention to Kayla and nodded. "There's no need to apologize. Your assistance has been invaluable to me today. Thank you." She said, patting the seat next to here. "Please have a seat. We shouldn't be here much longer."
