Jake flinched as Ashby's voice boomed out over the chatter in the classroom. Well, at least he'd shut up after the table incident. But, D'OH! Here goes.

Standing beside Jake and looking at the Professor, Kayla visibly gulped. Oh man, she was so in for it now but her head snapped towards Jake, when he told the Professor what happen. She leaned over and whispered in his ear, "Thanks for not getting me into trouble. If you want you can practice the charm on me after class if you like."
