Help us we're a bunch of letters stuck in this box !! "That's what my uncle used to say," Tino replied absently, staring at the white bird-form now laying on the floor. He hoped Daphne wouldn't revive it. Her creation was obviously a menace. "But now all he says is 'that must be a maternal genetic thing'." That was the only reference Uncle Gary ever made about his mother, so it didn't exactly deter Tino from 'expressing' himself. Being himself was, perhaps, the only connection he had left to her.
After Tino was pretty sure the crane wasn't going to sit up and shout at him, he turned to Aggie. "Hey. I know you. . . you threw a snowball in my face and gave me an ear infection." He stated it matter-of-factly, as if reciting Aggie's driver's license number. Tino pulled out his wand. "Wanna be my partner? We're supposed to unstick something."
